A 2025 with several concerts across Catalonia

The SCHERZO Female Chamber Choir had a 2025 full of concerts throughout Catalonia, presenting several musical programmes. The choir received the support of the Tarragona Provincial Council for the concerts held in the province and also the support of the Vila-seca City Council in order to carry out its activities. In all the concerts, the choir was accompanied by its regular pianist, Daniel Ruiz.

The concerts held were the following:

• 15 February: Participation in “Tap de suro” about the Mediterranean, at the Celler de Vila-seca.
• 16 February: Church of Sant Esteve Sesrovires.
• 25 May: Church of Sant Agustí, Tarragona.
• 26 May: Sala del Mar, Torredembarra.
• 25 July: Church of la Riera de Gaià, within the Intro-ment series.
• 31 August: Racó de la Calma, Sitges, within the Sitgestiu Festival.
• 20 September: Jean Leon Winery (Torrelavit), with a musical programme tracing the life of the founder of the winery.
• 23 November: Church of La Bisbal del Penedès. Concert series.
• 14 December: Church of Santa Maria, Montblanc (in benefit of Cáritas Montblanc).
• 21 December: Terrassa Auditorium. Concert series. With the Orquestra Terrassa 48, celebrating its 25th anniversary.

In most concerts, the repertoire included works by Holst, Quartel and Guinovart, except for the concert at the winery and the concert in Terrassa.
